Online Statement Disclosure

Advantage Trust Company (“ATC”) allows you to receive your account statements and other documents through electronic means via ATC’s Client Portal.  This disclosure covers your rights and responsibilities concerning Advantage Trust Company’s online statement and document services and applies to each account you have with Advantage Trust Company where electronic documents are available.  Please read this Online Statement and Document Enrollment Disclosure carefully before you consent to electronic access to your account statements and other documents. 

Consent

You consent to receive electronic statements, tax ledgers, IRS tax reporting forms, required minimum distribution letters, and other documents on ATC’s Client Portal.  Your consent is required for electronic access to account statements and other documents.

Opt-Out 

You can opt out of receiving electronic documents at any time. To do so, please call ATC at 785-452-3561 or email operations@advantagetrustco.com.

Document Delivery Format

All electronic documents will be in Portable Document Format (PDF).  Adobe Acrobat Reader® is required to open and view your electronic documents. To download the latest version of Adobe Acrobat Reader®, go to http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep.html.

Contact Information

You are responsible for providing and maintaining accurate and up-to-date contact information, including your email address to receive electronic documents on the Client Portal. You agree to promptly inform ATC if there are any changes, this can be completed by calling 785-452-3561, emailing operations@advantagetrustco.com, or visiting our office at 227 South Santa Fe Avenue, Salina, KS.

Security and Confidentiality

We will take reasonable measures to ensure the security and confidentiality of all electronic documents. However, please be aware that electronic documents may not be entirely secure, and we cannot guarantee the absolute security of transmitted data.

Third-Party Service Providers

We utilize the services of a third-party software company to facilitate the delivery of electronic documents.

Frequency and Discontinuation

The frequency of electronic documents may vary.  Electronic documents will only be available on the Client Portal for 12 months. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the sending of electronic documents at any time without prior notice.  At that time, your account will revert to paper statements and notices.

Governing Law

This disclosure shall be governed by the laws of Kansas and any disputes relating to this consent shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Kansas.

By providing your consent to receive electronic statements and other communications, you confirm that you have read and understand this disclosure and agree to be bound by its terms and conditions.
